Fire & EMS
Harlan Township Fire and Rescue is a mostly volunteer department that provides fire and ems services from 2 stations. The Fire Chief, an Assistant Chief, and a Lieutenant work part time to manage the administrative and operational needs of the department.
Warren County Sherriff
The Warren County Sheriff's Office provides enforcement and investigative services to the unincorporated areas of Warren County as well as contract law enforcement service to Deerfield and Union Townships and the Village of South Lebanon. Our detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Section are responsible for investigating major crimes. The Warren County Drug Task Force is a multi-agency effort administrated through our office. Members of the task force include local, state and federal investigators. In support of the first-line units are the Court Services Section, a commercial vehicle enforcement officer, ATV and bike patrols, a countywide Tactical Team, and a professional clerical staff.
